Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. She grew up within an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian and the Sri Lankan. The father of Jacqueline is Elroy Fernandez comes from Sri Lanka. Jacqueline has two older siblings and a younger sibling. In the 80s, her parents fled to Bahrain due to civil unrest on Sri Lanka. In the end, she was both born and raised there. Her schooling was completed within Bahrain and she won the Scholarship for at the University of Sydney. There she graduated with the Media and Communications degree. After winning Miss Sri Lanka title in 2006, she took on the world of TV and hosted a program that was a business show in Sri Lanka called Lanka Business Report. Padukone (the daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone) was born and raised in Bangalore. When she was a teenager she competed in badminton at National level competitions. She later resigned her profession in sports to become a fashion model. Padukone's mother tongue is Konkani. She is Mangalorean in her origins. Her ancestors hail from the town of Padukone within the Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka state, which is located in India. Prakash Padukone has retired as an international badminton player Her mother, on the other hand, also works as a travel advisor.
